Training Courses for Teaching Spanish as a Professors (E/LE)

To register in the E/LE Teachers’ Training Courses it is necessary to be a University student that has obtained a diploma or has graduated in Spanish Philology or in Applied Linguistics or has done other university studies related to the teaching of languages or be a person with a curriculum showing that his/her interests are closely linked to the subject of the course.

All the courses have a limited number of places available that are covered in the same order as the registration applications reach the Secretary’s office for Foreign Students’ Courses.

Documents required

The registration form can be obtained from the Secretary’s office for Foreign Students’ Courses or be downloaded from the web page www.uimp.es

The filled in form must be sent to the UIMP, accompanied by the following documents:

• Photocopy of the Identity Card/Passport
• Photocopy of the document certifying that he/she is a university student with a diploma or a degree.
• Two passport-size photos.
• Proof of having paid the registration fee to the UIMP bank account.

Applications done on non-official forms, or not accompanied by the required documents will be rejected.

Prices

Fees, depending on the different rates, are as follows:

• Fee 1: 130 Euros
  
• Fee 2: 255 Euros
• Fee 3: 382 Euros

Form of payment

Payment of the registration fee can be made through bank transfer to the UIMP bank account.

Reimbursement of Registration Fee

The reimbursement of registration fees will follow these criteria:

1. The UIMP will return to the senders the documents and 100% of the registration fee if the quota of available places has been covered. The students who do not fulfil the required qualifications will likewise be reimbursed, as will those who have to cancel their registration owing to circumstances beyond their control, in cases established by the UIMP.
   
2. Applicants who have to cancel their registration and do so at least 14 natural days before the beginning of the course are entitled to 100% reimbursement of the registration fee.
   
3. The UIMP reserves the right to accept or refuse reimbursement applications or cancellations notified less then 14 natural days before the beginning of the course. In these cases and provided the reimbursement is justified, we will take into account the date of the application, such that:
   
   • If the application is presented between 13 and 5 natural days previous to the beginning of the course, the applicant will be entitled to receive back 60% of the registration fee.
     
   • The applications presented 4 natural days previous to the beginning of the course or when the course has already started will have no right to reimbursement.
     

All the applications giving right to reimbursement must be done by writing and be addressed to the Secretariat for UIMP Students.
