VIII European Seminar on Marine Mammals: Biology and Conservation
This international seminar represents the Seventh European course on the biology and conservation of one of the most threatened animal groups. The course consists of 11 sessions grouped into three modules.
The first module will show the latest advances and current research on the biology of cetaceans and pinnipeds. In the second module, there will be practical demonstrations of laboratory techniques applied to the research on marine mammals. The third module will deal with aspects of management and strategies for species preservation, including marine protected areas, at European and world scales.
