Should a grant application be rejected, the interested party can apply for another grant running that same year. Students who have been given a grant are not eligible for a second one on that same year.
Applications must be handed in at the UIMP’s Students’ Secretariat or in any other UIMP’s headquarter, in accordance with Art.38.4 of the Legal System for Public Administrations and Common Administrative Proceedings.

The regulatory basis for awarding a grant and the criteria applied in the selection can be found in the Grant’s Announcement and are available at the Students’ Secretariat and in the web page
The UIMP’s Students’ Secretariat will look through the grant applications and if the documentation is incomplete will give the applicant a delay of 10 days to rectify. If the error is not rectified within that delay his/her application will be shelved.
The awarding of the grant will be done through a system of competition and will be decided by the Grants’ Selection Board which will pay attention to and take into account the criteria of selection indicated in the Grants’ announcement.
The provisional resolution of the selection will be published in the web page www.uimp.es
Those who are interested in the project can present the declaration they deem relevant within 10 working days.
The definitive Resolution adopted by the University’s Rector after thorough examination of the students declaration, will be notified to each individual applicant.
Should any of the selected candidates have to cancel their participation to the course, he/she must write a letter to the UIMP announcing this circumstance at the shortest delay or at least one week before the beginning of the course.
UIMP’s Grant Beneficiaries must Attend Classes Regularly if they want to obtain a Diploma, or at least attend the minimum number of classes foreseen in the regulations.
Registered students and grant holders can obtain a Diploma certifying their participation to the respective academic activities, provided class-attendance has been regular and verified or makes up at least 85% of the sessions or classes. This detail will appear on the diploma and the number of sessions will depend on the duration of the respective course or seminar.
Students who wish the credits for participating in the UIMP’s courses to be recognised by their own universities, must get in touch with the Students’ Secretariat before the beginning of the course in order to obtain information on agreements between universities and what procedures to follow.
