The UIMP’s grant’s announcement is addressed fundamentally to university students and, in specific cases to people who, for professional reasons, are closely related to the subject of the academic activity for which they have applied. The objective of the Grants is to facilitate, promote and encourage the participation in the courses given at the UIMP of students who present a brilliant academic record but have limited economic resources; therefore these are the basic tenets for the selection.
Grant for registration fee: Comprises exclusively the gratuity of the registration fee.
1ÂŞ) To participate in the chosen seminar or course, applicants will have to fulfil the academic requirements that are in agreement with the subject and objectives of the respective program.
Only one grant application per student and per course will be admitted at any of the UIMP’s headquarters.
Should the grant be rejected, the interested party can present a new application for another grant announced in the current year. However, no second grant will be awarded to applicants that already have one.
2ª) The application form, available at the UIMP’s Students’ Secretariat in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, must be completed and accompanied by the following documents:
Applications must be taken or sent to the UIMP’s Students’ Secretariat in Santa Cruz de Tenerife or to any of the other UIMP’s headquarters referred to by Art. 38.4 of the Legal System for Public Administrations and Common Administrative Proceedings.
Time period for presenting the application: up to 15 days before the beginning of the chosen course.
The decisions adopted by the UIMP’s Grants Selection Board will be notified to each and all applicants.
The regulatory criteria on grant’s concessions are available at the UIMP’s Students’ Secretariat. Students whose application has not been selected can recover all their documents during the 6 months that follow the UIMP’s notification date.
After this delay the documents that have not been recovered will be destroyed.
