Timetable
Mondays to Fridays (from 10 to 13:30 hours) and Tuesdays and Thursdays in the afternoon (from 17 to 19 hours).

The UIMP’s grants announcement is addressed fundamentally to university students and postgraduates and in specific cases to people who, for professional reasons, are closely related to the subject of the academic activity for which they have applied. The objective of the Grants is to facilitate, promote and encourage the participation in the courses given at the UIMP of students who present a brilliant academic record. There are two types of grants:

Full Grant: The Full Grant includes lodging in a shared room with two beds, full board and registration fee. It does not include travelling expenses, which will be paid by the student.

Grant for registration fee: This grant only includes the gratuity of the Registration fee.


Requirements and documents

1ÂŞ) To participate in the chosen seminar or course, applicants will have to fulfil the academic requirements that are in accordance with the subject and objectives of the respective program.

Should the grant be rejected, the interested party can present a new application for another grant announced in the current year. However, no second grant will be awarded to applicants that already have one.

2ª) The form must be completed and sent to the UIMP’s Students’ Secretariat in Valencia or to any other UIMP Centre accompanied by the following documents:

  • Personal academic certification or an attested photocopy of the same. Students with a Doctor degree or who are currently taking their third cycle studies must produce a document proving this circumstance.
  • Photocopy of Identity Card.
  • Students who have obtained an Extraordinary Prize from any Spanish University should also include an attested photocopy of it.

Place and dates for application

Applications are to be taken to the UIMP’s Students’ Secretariat in Valencia, or to any of the other UIMP’s headquarters referred to by Art. 38.4 of the Legal System for Public Administrations and Common Administrative Proceedings.


The timetable for the reception of grant applications is the following:

  • From April 1st to April 16th 2008 for courses running from April to June.
  • From April 1st to June 11th 2008 for courses running from July to September
  • From April 1st to July 7th 2008 for courses running from October to November.

Resolution and notification

The decisions adopted by the UIMP’s Grants’ Selection Board will be notified to each and all applicants. Students whose application has not been selected can recover all their documents during the 6 months that follow the UIMP’s notification. Those who fail to recover them will lose them because they will be destroyed.

Academic credits

The public universities of the Valencia Community validate all the seminars in the frame of the offer of credits of free election.
