Are you a grant owner of the MEC? Do you want to learn to speak English? Do you have a free week during the course?
The UIMP has scheduled courses of total immersion in English in 8 of its headquarters during the year 2008, for students who own a MEC grant.
The UIMP entrusts Vaughan with the selection of the teachers who will give these courses of full immersion in English.
• Directed to pupils with an intermediate knowledge of the English language and aimed at improving their speaking skills.
• Groups of 5-6 pupils.
• 3 levels of competence.
• 40 hours of lessons: mornings and afternoons, from Mondays to Fridays.
• Timetable: From 9:00 to 14:00 hours and from 16:00 to 18:00 hours,
including coffee breaks (this timetable could suffer some variation).
• Native teachers and conversation assistants.
• Students will be lodged full board in UIMP’s student hostels, two students per room.
• Levels: Intermediate 1, Intermediate 2 and Advanced.
• The minimum level of knowledge required is available to students who have passed the university entrance examination.
• However, before being admitted they will have to undergo a test of level.
• Each student will make the test completely and exclusively through the platform established by the UIMP.
• At the end of the test, the computerised system will immediately inform the student whether he is APT or NOT APT to follow the Course.
• The selection will be made exclusively through the platform established by the UIMP.
• As soon as both the headquarters and the schedules have been selected, the computer system will let the student know what places and dates are available.
• The places will be reserved according to the date written on the bank statement testifying to the payment of the 100€ reservation fee.
