In order to register as official student, it is necessary to be a diploma or graduate university student. People whose curriculum or professional interests are closely related to the subject of the course or seminary can, in specific cases, also register. The official registrations permit to obtain a Diploma certifying the participation to the course, provided the assistance to classes has been regular.
Students can obtain the registration form either from the Students’ Secretariat or from this web page Once they have filled it in, they must send it to the UIMP accompanied by the following documents:
Applications made on non-official forms or which are not accompanied by the above required documents will be rejected.
In such cases, students may, if so decided, gather all the documents required for participation in the chosen courses and adjust to what is established in those specific programs.
Places available
All the courses have a limited number of places available, depending on the objectives and characteristics of each one of them, which will be covered by strict order of reception of the registration-form in the Students’ Secretariat.
The Period for Registration opens on May 1st, 2008 and closes the day before the beginning of each course. (Limited places). The registration can be formalized either at the UIMP Students’ Secretariat or by sending the requested documents by mail after payment of the registration fee, in accordance with Art. 38.4, of the law for Public Administrations and Common Administrative Procedure.

The above “A” fee will be applied to all the activities.
Students of the Galician Universities of A Coruña, Vigo and Santiago de Compostela who want to apply for a reduced registration fee must certify this circumstance by presenting a photocopy of their university registration.
The payment of the registration can be made through bank transfer to the following UIMP Bank Account.

In any of these cases the bank or issuing entity wherefrom the payment is made will have to state the following details.
The registration will not be valid without its mechanical certification or, in cases of bank transfer, without authorized signature and stamp of the issuing Bank. Banking costs will be met by each student.
Credits of free configuration
All the courses of the Program realized in Galicia are authorized by the Universities of A Coruña, Santiago, and Vigo as credits of free configuration for the students participating in the program, with 2 maximum credit points per course.
Third Cycle Credits
According to Rule (R.D.) 185/1985, students can, with the assistance of the staff in charge at each university, request to have the total number of academic hours of the course validated as Third Cycle Credits.
Diplomas
All registered students can obtain a Diploma certifying her/his participation in the academic activities corresponding to his/her course, provided the assistance to classes was Proven to be regular or was At Least 85% of the total teaching hours. The total teaching hours will appear on the diploma depending on the duration of the course.
The reimbursement of the registration fee will follow the criteria below:
1.The UIMP will return the documents to the senders and 100% of the fee once all available places have been covered. Also to those students who do not satisfy the requirements and to those who have to cancel their application for causes beyond their control. This will depend on the norms established by the University.
2.Reimbursement applications made 14 natural days at least before the beginning of the course, will receive back 100% of the registration fee.
3.The UIMP reserves the right to accept or not accept reimbursing the fee in cases where the cancellation has been notified less than 14 days before the beginning of the course. In these cases, and if the cancellation is justified the UIMP Secretariat will take into account the date of reception. So that:
- If the application was received 13 to 5 natural days before the beginning of the course the student will get back 60% of the registration fee.
- Reimbursement applications received 4 natural days before the beginning of the course or when this has already started will not be taken into account.
Students eligible for reimbursement must hand in or send a written application to the UIMP’s Students’ Secretariat.
