In order to register as an official student, it is necessary to be a diploma or graduate university student. People whose curriculum or professional interests are closely related to the subject of the course or seminar can, in specific cases, also register. The official registration permits to obtain a Diploma certifying the participation to the course, provided class attendance has been regular and verified or makes up at least 85% of the classes.
Students can obtain the registration form either from the Students’ Secretariat or from this web page Once they have filled it in, they must send it to the UIMP accompanied by the following documents:
Places available
All the seminars have a limited number of places available, depending on the objectives and characteristics of each one of them, which will be covered by strict order of reception of the registration-form at the Students’ Secretariat. The registration can also be made via Internet.
The Period for formalizing Registration opens on April 1st, 2008 and will end, for each course, when all the places are covered. The registration can be formalized either at the UIMP Students’ Secretariat of Valencia or by sending the required documents by mail after payment of the registration fee, in accordance with Art. 38.4, of the law for Public Administrations and Common Administrative Procedure.
The price of the courses depends on the tariff of each one of them:
The above “A” fee will be applied to all the activities.
Registration can also be made via Internet, in which case the required documents can be sent via fax or e-mail and the bank receipt be handed in on the first day of the course.
Students registered in the first and second cycle, as well as in doctorate programs of any public university of the Valencia Community and in the CEU Cardenal Herrera, have the right to a 50% reduction in the registration fee and must bring a photocopy of their student’s card.
Teachers of elementary and secondary education have the right to a 50% reduction in the registration fee of courses sponsored by the Direcció General d´Ensenyament de la Generalitat Valenciana by presenting a certificate issued by the centre in which they are teaching.
Are exempt from payment: the victims of acts of terrorism and their families, beneficiaries of large families under a special category, victims of gender violence and their children and students with a physical handicap equal to 33% or more: These must contact the students’ secretariat and ask about the documents they need to produce.

Credits validation
- All the seminars are validated as free choice credits by the public universities of the Valencia Community.
- Students who wish to validate the seminars with those credits will have to pass a written test prepared by the organizers of the courses.
- However, faculties are the organisms directly responsible for validating credits, therefore if you need more information write to or contact your own University.
The reimbursement of the registration fee will follow the criteria below:
1.The UIMP will return the documents to the senders and 100% of the fee once all available places have been covered. Also to those students who do not satisfy the requirements and to those who have to cancel their application for causes beyond their control. This will depend on the norms established by the University.
2.Reimbursement applications made 14 natural days at least before the beginning of the course, will receive back 100% of the registration fee.
3.The UIMP reserves the right to accept or not accept reimbursing the fee in cases where the cancellation has been notified less than 14 days before the beginning of the course. In these cases, and if the cancellation is justified the UIMP Secretariat will take into account the date of reception. So that:
- If the application was received 13 to 5 natural days before the beginning of the course the student will get back 60% of the registration fee.
- Reimbursement applications received 4 natural days before the beginning of the course or when this has already started will not be taken into account.
Students eligible for reimbursement must hand in or send a written application to the UIMP’s Students’ Secretariat.
