F. Javier Wengel Sánchez

F. Javier Wengel Sánchez holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and is a career civil servant in Spain’s Senior Corps of State Administrators, technical specialty. Throughout his career, he has held leadership positions focused on public sector management and policy implementation.
He currently serves as Manager of the Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo, following previous positions as Deputy Director of Learning at the National Institute of Public Administration (INAP) and Senior Technician at the Directorate-General for Personnel Costs within the Ministry of Finance.
Throughout his career, he has led national and international training initiatives, managed multidisciplinary teams, and contributed to procurement processes, economic analysis, and public resource management.
He has also worked with organizations such as AGROSEGURO and the Teatro Real Foundation, gaining expertise in quality assurance, accounting, finance, and purchasing. He is fluent in English and French.
