SPANISH LANGUAGE AND CULTURE - Summer courses

*In summer courses, two- and three-weeks' enrolment is admitted, from the beginning of the course.
Course content:
A levels
- Spanish language and culture (100 hours)
B and C levels
- Spanish language (60 hours)
- Culture of Spanish-speaking communities (20 hours): plus 5 hours of activities outside the classroom.
- Complementary subjects (20 hours) (Art, Cinema, History and society, Spanish and Latin American Literature, Theatre, Spanish for professional purposes,). The specific offer of subjects will be published a few weeks before the start of each course.

Registration
Courses on our programme are aimed at adults. If a student aged 16 or 17 wishes to register for the course, they need to send a filled out Authorisation Form signed by their parents or guardians, alongside the pre-enrolment application.
Required documentation
To carry out pre-enrolment, the following documentation must be sent:
- Registration form
- A photocopy of your identity card / Passport
- Authorisation Form (if the student is aged 16 or 17)
Once the Secretary's Office has received the pre-enrolment application, the student will be sent the matching price as well as instructions to pay for the registration and, where applicable, accommodation if this has been booked for the UIMP Halls of Residence.

(All bank charges shall be paid by the student).
- Credit card. Those students who chooses this method of payment, must expressely inform the Student´s Secretary so they can be provided with the user codes that will allow them to access the online payment.
Cancellation, withdrawal and Refunds
- Course Cancellation: In the event that the university cancels a course or level, students will be refunded the full amount paid for enrolment and admin fees or, where they so request, they may use this amount for another scheduled course in the same academic year.
- Enrolment Withdrawal: In the event that students wish to withdraw their enrolment on a course, and in order to be refunded, students must notify their intention to cancel their enrolment to the Student Secretary’s Office in writing before the start of the course, providing the reason for said cancellation and attaching the relevant accreditation documents.
Enrolment withdrawal requests shall be processed as per the following deadlines and amounts:
- For enrolment cancellation or withdrawal requests submitted seven calendar days or more before the start of the course, the enrolment fees shall be refunded in full.
- For enrolment cancellation or withdrawal requests submitted under seven calendar days before the start of the course, 75% of the enrolment fees shall be refunded
- No refunds shall be made after the course has started.
- Exceptional circumstances or due to force majeure for the student, will be studied individually, upon submission of official documents accrediting this situation.
The registration admin fee (22.50 euro) shall not be refunded where students request cancellation.

Accommodation
The University has its own Residence Hall at Las Llamas Campus.
Places are limited and are reserved exclusively for students enrolled in UIMP courses.
Students may arrive the day before the start of the activity for which they have enrolled, from 5 p.m. onwards, and leave on the day the course ends or the following day before 10 a.m.
For Spanish courses, the University offers our students the possibility of requesting accommodation in its own residences or with a family.
Residencia de Las Llamas
The residence is located at Las Llamas Campus where the Spanish language courses are taught.
Services: Single or double ensuite rooms and adapted rooms for those with disabilities. The campus has a library, cafeteria, dining room, study rooms, IT rooms, kitchen, laundry service and self-service launderette, parking, green areas and sports facilities. 24 h Reception.
