Descripción de la actividad

The proposed school encompasses in its general theme all those areas of study aimed at understanding the fundamental structure of the universe and its dynamics. The title of the school, "TERESA RODRIGO ANORO INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL OF PARTICLE PHYSICS AND THE COSMOS", covers from the smallest objects, governed by relativistic quantum field theories, to the largest ones under the laws of the theory of general relativity. 

 

This year's 2022 edition (the second of the cycle after the pandemic that forced us to interrupt school for two years) is dedicated to the investigation of the most abundant components in the universe: Dark Energy and Dark Matter. Only a joint analysis of the observed data can provide a faithful description of the processes that have taken place in the universe during its evolution. Thus, the title of the present edition of the school is: “Dark Energy and Dark Matter".

 

The schedule of the working sessions includes lectures (to be given in the mornings) and practical classes (in the afternoons) related to the topics covered in the lectures. The topics will be approached from a theoretical and experimental point of view.

 

The profile of the students to whom the course is addressed is relatively broad, covering undergraduate students in their final years, master's students, and doctoral students.
